The William Vale: We’ll Meet You In Brooklyn.

The William Vale: We’ll Meet You In Brooklyn.

The William Vale sits on land that used to be a farm, named for the man who worked it. There’s a park lifted above the street where neighbors take their lunch, read in the shade, and let the dog rest by the door. A communal backyard of sorts. Plenty of the people up there aren’t staying the night. The hotel was built to be part of the neighborhood it’s proud to sit in. Built for its people.

We’ve spent enough time in restaurants and hotels to know the difference between a place you visit and a place you come back to. It’s rarely the big things that call you back. Instead, it’s whether someone looks up when you walk in. Whether you feel seen. Whether it feels familiar. Whether you’re treated like a guest or like you belong there.

Creating that feeling takes attention to detail. It takes intention and care. The same care we put into making garments for people on both sides of the experience. The artists, creators, and culture makers. The people behind the scenes, making moments for others to enjoy. And the people who come to enjoy them, usually with someone they love.

That’s why we teamed up with The William Vale. It’s a place for travelers and locals alike. This capsule is too. It’s for those proud to call the city home, and for those who want to take a piece of it with them. Introducing The William Vale Collection by Dinner Service:

A crewneck in 11oz cotton fleece, cut boxy. Felt appliqué is stitched across the front, and the Brooklyn Bridge skyline is embroidered along the back and down the sleeve.

A service shirt in cotton poplin, relaxed and boxy, with a fine pinstripe. Pearl snaps run down the front, with embroidery at the chest and across the back.

And a chore jacket in 14oz denim. There’s embroidery at the chest and snaps at the placket, cuffs, and patch pockets. Just below the back of the collar, small enough to miss, it says “meet me in Brooklyn.”

This one’s for the ones who call this borough home, and the ones passing through who wish they did. For whoever’s working a shift tonight, and the ones just walking in.
