HUT ORIGINALS™: BORN FROM THE TABLE, MADE FOR GOOD TIMES.
The year is 1995. You and your siblings just piled into your mom's grey minivan (a fancy new sleek-looking round one, not an old boxy one from the 80s). School just let out for the summer, and you're on your way to redeem your last Personal Pan Pizza for reading all those books this month. The precious certificate is tucked away safely in your pencil box, in the front pocket of your backpack. You're stopped at a red light, but through the front windshield you spot the iconic, pitched red roof a couple blocks away...Pizza Hut. A place that’s always been about more than just pizza, the Hut has always been about gathering around the table, celebrating life's everyday moments, and creating experiences worth sharing; with your team, your family and those gathered around you.
That spirit mirrors our own appreciation for restaurant culture, where thoughtful uniforms become part of the guest experience and a symbol of pride for the people wearing them. At Dinner Service, we're not exempt from this feeling. We understand there's no recreating the past. What we can do is build things, moments, and experiences that feel human now. Everything we make is centered around special people or special moments, the kind you want to remember forever. So when Pizza Hut came to us, this felt like ours to make.
Together, we've created Hut Originals™ Together, we are doing something for the Hut Originals™. Nine pieces. A camo bomber jacket, two porter shirts, a classic rugby, a retro tee, a hat, socks, a denim tote. The camo jacket draws from the Bigfoot Pizza. The patches on the denim porter pull from BOOK IT!® designs across the years. The red service shirt nods back to the original Pizza Hut uniform. The legacy list lives on the back of the tee. These garments play both historian and chauffeur. Looking back, looking ahead. Made to wear, made to remember, made to Feed Good Times™ for years to come.
My family has been enjoying Pizza Hut since I was a young kid in the 70’s. Now I, and my grandkid,, enjoy eating our “favorite” pizza. A tradition carried on.
