L’Ermitage Beverly Hills has spent fifty years proving this sort of experience doesn’t happen by accident, but by design. What began as a collection of private residences along Burton Way evolved into an all-suite retreat known for its quiet sophistication and unwavering commitment to world-class service. The property earned its reputation through the kind of thoughtful hospitality that never announces itself, yet is felt everywhere you look. Masters at their craft.
That approach is what drew us to this collaboration. Dinner Service exists to honor real places and tell the stories of the people who make them memorable. We create garments that carry culture, history, and a sense of intention. L’Ermitage fits that bill perfectly. Their identity is built from the details that set them apart. The palm-lined silhouette. The warm-hearted California charm exhibited by their staff. Even the wild parrots have become a defining, unexpected part of the neighborhood’s character. These are the qualities that shape the hotel’s identity and draw guests back year after year.
For their fiftieth anniversary, we worked closely with L’Ermitage to translate that legacy into a two-piece capsule. A cotton twill dad hat embroidered with a parrot drawn from the hotel’s iconography. And a one hundred percent cotton three-quarter zip crew neck with a minimal front mark and a back illustration of the property’s recognizable outline, framed by vibrant embroidered parrots. Both pieces reflect the care, restraint, and craftsmanship that define L’Ermitage. A quiet sort of confidence.
Dinner Service and L’Ermitage may be on opposite coasts, but we are both shaped by a belief in the power of great hospitality, in the value of creating something that feels considered and lasting, and in the idea that the smallest details can say the most. This collaboration is a tribute to a hotel that has set the standard for excellence for half a century and a continuation of our mission to tell real stories about real people through garments made with real materials.
