Equal parts New York state of mind, Southern comfort food by way of Atlanta, and rooted in Korean tradition, C as in Charlie was born from the kind of connection only childhood friends can foster. That friendship between David JoonWoo Yun, Steve JaeWoo Choi, and chef Eric JaeHo Choi led to an incredible partnership--one that carried the flavors of home and the spirit of their families’ kitchens into a restaurant that now hums at the heart of New York City. Since opening in 2022, their take on tapas-style soul food has earned them Michelin recognition, but more importantly, it’s created a place where memory and innovation sit at the same table.

The C as in Charlie collection is made from sustainable alternatives to polyester and other synthetic fabrics. Our production is also free of the toxic chemicals that come along with polyester production. Here at Dinner Service it is our mission to raise awareness around the consumption of plastic based fabrics.
