Welcome Back, Orville Peck

When we chose the moniker “Dinner Service,” it wasn’t just a name to us – it represented a philosophy. We wanted to take the unique communal experience that only seems to happen around the table and try and extend the threads of stories and connections spun during mealtime beyond the confines of tables and chairs. Every time we decide to create something, we do so with an aim to create a communal and collaborative experience with those we work with. 

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again — Orville Peck is a living, breathing embodiment of our ethos here at DSNY. And, with his newest record ‘Stampede’, we find even more common ground with the masked entertainer. On ‘Stampede’, Orville plays host to a lengthy group of musicians and serves up an incredible duets album that sculpts the genre of country music into something fresh and distinctly his own. By opening up a seat on every song and bringing different collaborators into the mix, Orville is able to offer his fans something that wouldn’t be attainable on his own. The blending of voices adds another perspective to each song… an added layer… and a richer story as a result.

Orville’s principles and unyielding stances echo through every note he sings through the mask he wears, indifferent to the murmurs of traditionalists’ dissent. What sets him apart is his fearless embrace of self, a quality that not only defines him but also inspires people (like us) to do the same. 

The Stampede collection features an embroidered crewneck sweatshirt, a twill embroidered bomber jacket, and a terry cloth embroidered ringer tee. All of the products in this collection use plant-based, up-cycled materials and are plastic + toxic chemical free.
