Death & Co x Dinner Service: For Those Who Shine After Dusk

In centuries past, to drink was to flirt with mortality. To raise a glass was to keep company with death. But over time, the ritual evolved—flavor was restored to the cocktail, and with it, a sense of reverence in the experience. To the creative bartenders and staff at Death & Co, a night to celebrate life's simple pleasures with exquisitely crafted cocktails and good friends is a rare gift.
We at Dinner Service feel the same. Life is worth living—and even more, worth celebrating. Another round with old friends. A late-night bite after close. A rooftop cigarette as the sun comes up. These are the moments that remind us we’re alive.
Opened on New Year's Eve, 2006, in Manhattan’s East Village, Death & Co quickly became a renowned cocktail institution. Intimate and unapologetic. Since then, they've grown into a family of spaces across Denver, Los Angeles, and D.C.—each one shaped by the same unwavering commitment to craft, experience, and community. They curate atmosphere as much as drink. Hospitality is the thread that ties it all together.
So when the opportunity came to collaborate, we poured ourselves into it.
The Death & Co Bowling Top is our stitched-up tribute to those who keep the night alive. Designed in collaboration with their team, it captures the same intentionality and vibrancy found in each of their spaces. Featuring custom embroidery, a floral-print back, and a green-and-floral checkerboard front, it’s cut with a classic fit and finished with a heritage camp collar. Made from 100% Lyocell—developed from sustainably harvested eucalyptus pulp—this shirt is built to last, and made to stay out as late as you do.
Death & Co said it best: “To those who shun the night, we tip our hat. To those who shine after dusk, we offer a warm embrace.”
Here’s to a good night—and the ones who meet us there. The Death & Co Bowling Top. Available now.
